Welcome to Al-Rashid Islamic Institute

One can never adequately thank Allah, Most Merciful, for his favour of bringing us into existence and for crowning human kind with the honour of being the noblest among all other forms of creation. Allah is so infinitely gracious that he sent many prophets for our guidance. The almighty completed the process of revelation with his final and eternal message revealed to his beloved prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wassallam). The perfect way of life shown by this revelation is valid and suitable for all times until the last day. Our supreme success now lies in implementing these teaching in each and every aspect of our existence.

Countless thanks and countless praises are due to Allah for blessing us with Ulama who having in-depth knowledge of the holy Qur’an and Hadith are able to explain the timeless applicability of the divine message, and remind us about the straight path.

One such great scholar was Shaikhul-Hadith Muhammad Zakariya. Thousands of Ulama and mashaikh have been his students. He is the author of numerous religious works of distinction. His scholarly contributions to the field of Hadith are an invaluable reference material used throughout the world.

May Allah bestow the most excellent recompense, proportional to his sublime majesty, upon his final messenger Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wassallam) and upon all his Sahabah (Radiallaho anhum) and upon all his Awlia. May Allah also grant his special proximity to the late Shaikhul-Hadith Muhammad Zakariya who desired, initiated, and became the means for the establishment of this institute, from which many Huffaaz and Ulama are graduating every year, Alhamdulillah,.

For the future generations of Muslims of North America, this institute of higher Islamic learning will, Insha-Allah, be one of the means of their profound connection with Islamic learning and the Sunnah of Allah’s final prophet, Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wassallam).
